COOKING CLASSES

Class format is demonstration or hands-on participation. Nelly organizes classes on a variety of subjects and culinary techniques in her or your home with groups or individually. Hors d’oeuvres, wine and drinks are included.

If you have a group of friends who like to cook, a subject you like to explore from a culinary point of view, or an occasion to celebrate, throw an unusual cooking/dinner or lunch party at Nelly's or at your house.

Maybe you are a poetry lover and would like to discover all there is to know about an Italian Renaissance poet, the places where he wrote his most beautiful poems and the food that was eaten at the court where he served. Nelly will research the subject and will recreate those flavors as faithfully as possible also providing information about the social customs and ways of life of in that particular era.

Nelly can help you to recreate the food and atmosphere that enchanted you in your own home. She will share her insider point of view and knowledge on every possible aspect of Italian food. You can choose the format you prefer: a complete catered dinner with hands-on demonstration of the main dish, for example.

ARE YOU PLANNING A TRIP TO ITALY?

She can organize a cooking/preview class with the recipes you suggest and you and your guests will sample the food, learn about customs, geography, climate, books to read, how to dress, what to buy. ITALIAN CONVERSATION

Private individual or group classes can be arranged for anyone who is interested in Italian culture and/or is planning to visit Italy and wants to improve the language or acquire a basic understanding of everyday vocabulary.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are available for cooking classes or for catered items. They are great as house-warming, wedding, shower, holiday, birthday, anniversary gifts.

Gift certificates are valid for 1 year from purchase and are transferable.
